The Arrowhead Vine (Syngonium podophyllum) grows like a philodendron vine with a shorter vine but long petioles (leaf stalks). The distinctive shape of the leaves give the Arrowhead Vine or Arrowhead Plant its name.
Each arrow-shaped leaf grows on a long stalk reaching up toward the light.
Your Syngonium (Arrowhead Vine) will be planted and well-established in a four inch nursery pot.
Over time, new shoots emerge from the roots to fill out larger and larger pots. Alternately, the new plants can be carefully separated and repotted by themselves.
The leaves of this variety start out with a noticeably red or pink hue then darken to green as they mature. Even then, they retain some of the red color along the major veins of each leaf.
While the Arrowhead Plant should be kept out of the reach of pets, it makes an excellent floor plant or tabletop plant.
If ordering during the winter months vonsider whether you should add a 72 hour heat pack to protect your Syngonium during shipping. Bear in mind that we are in New Hampshire and it gets COLD here.

Most plants are shipped by USPS Priority Mail or USPS . In cold months we only ship by Priority Mail to minimize shipping times and we strongly recommend that you add a heat pack to your order to protect your plants from cold damage. The heat packs are priced low to cover our cost and can mean the difference between receiving a happy, healthy plant or a plant that is damaged or killed by cold exposure. Our mission is to help you grow good things, and that starts with taking every precaution in shipping to make sure your plant arrives in good condition.
